CAMP MOONLIGHT

CAMP MOONLIGHT
The We Love Joy Foundation
At Whispering Springs and We Love Joy Foundation we believe everyone deserves a chance to rest, connect, and experience the magic of nature—especially families caring for children with disabilities.
Camp Moonlight is the living heart of We Love Joy.
In 2023, we hosted our very first Camp Moonlight: a fully donated, two-night glamping retreat for families with children who have physical disabilities. For many, it was the first true getaway they had experienced in years—free from barriers, schedules, and daily medical demands. Parents rested. Siblings played. Children laughed under the stars. And for a moment, life felt lighter.
Camp Moonlight is a fully hosted retreat experience for families raising children with disabilities or complex medical needs - families who rarely get rest, rarely get recognized, and almost never get time together without stress.

Help Us Create Lasting Memories for Families
Whispering Springs Wilderness Retreat is donated for Camp Moonlight. Funds raised through We Love Joy cover the real costs, staffing, accessibility, care, programming, meals, and support, ensuring that families never receive a bill and never feel like a burden.
For many families, Camp Moonlight may be the first time they feel accepted and supported since diagnosis.
Now, we’re hoping to make it happen again and you can help us.

We Love Joy Foundation
At the We Love Joy Foundation, our mission is to bring hope, guidance, and compassion to families navigating the unimaginable. Inspired by the courage and joy of little Ayla Fisher, we exist to lift families who are facing medical trauma, disability, and the overwhelming uncertainty that comes with a child’s complex care needs.
We create comfort in moments of crisis, clarity in times of confusion, and community where there was once isolation. Through supportive programs, inclusive storytelling, literacy initiatives, and the AskAyla
platform, we empower families with the resources, emotional support, and tools they need to feel seen, understood, and never alone. A portion of every book sold supports families in need, ensuring that storytelling becomes a cycle of giving.
